The LGBT Educational Archives ProjectThe LGBT Educational Archives Project: About The Collection

Make a Donation

The LGBT Educational Archives Project has been fortunate to receive foundation funding two years in a row to begin the work of processing and preserving, then digitizing and indexing the 150,000 pieces in the cCollection.

New Republic 1985The collection reflects cultural changes in the United States regarding relationships, intimacy, families, marriage, parenting, personal integrity, and the workplace.

What Was News Is Now History

These materials span such a period of time that what started out as news is now history -- available in a collection for those who wish to use it. We hope you will support us as we work to preserve our collective history.

Your support is greatly appreciated to help us continue the work. Foundation funding and private donations will be the major sources of income for the project. The LGBT Educational Archives Project is using the Southwest Research and Information Center (SRIC) as our fiscal sponsor because our project is of limited duration and SRIC is a widely respected community resource, allowing your donation to be a tax deductible contribution.

Your investment will ensure that this unique historic material will be easily accessible to all individuals who wish to use the archives.
